About Us

School of Environmental Technology (SET)
The School of Environmental Technology was established in January 1986 in the Bosso campus of the University until it was relocated to the Gidan Kwano Campus at the beginning of 2004/2005 Academic session. The School comprises of six departments namely: Architecture, Building Technology, Estate survey and Valuation, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geo-informatics, and Urban and Regional Planning. It has a staff strength of over 130 academic staff and Non Academic staff. SET has undergraduate student population of about 2636 students and about 245 postgraduate students.

Developing competent graduates and staff who are grounded in theory and practice of the various disciplines in the built environment.

Vision
To become a leading academic faculty in the production and development of competent, self-reliant and disciplined professionals in environment, settlements development, management and construction industry with local and global relevance.

Mission
Train high level manpower and build academics that are multidisciplinary and ICT driven with entrepreneurial skills in environmental technology and built environment.
